We are running a VMC instance that is not tied to any on-prem servers. It is joined to an LDAP/AD structure for users.
I'm struggling with the permissions as I can't see to get a single user account with all the rights I need.
I can assign a user as the CloudAdmin role OR the CloudGlobalAdmin role but I need my user to have the permissions of both (at the same time). Also, we have junior admins that need custom permissions but I'm not able to set that either.
Documentation does discuss the CloudAdmin vs CloudGlobalAdmin but not how create a custom role.
You can assign users "Read Only Roles" apart from the "Cloud Admin Role"
Hi eccl1213
Currently VMC on AWS does not offer option to create custom roles. I would encourage you to check out our roadmap website for VMC VMware Cloud
Thanks
