When I upgrade vcenter 5.5 to VCSA 6.5, on the second step it reports error as following:

what version of 5.5 vCenter are you running? you need to be at 5.5 U3.

Hi,

did you restart inventory service? Check logs of this service. Also KB provided by Diego Oliveira have some tips.

Are you running vCenter 5.5 appliance or Windows version? In case it is Windows version, try cleanup of C:\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp

Applicable to 6.5 upgrade as well.
