Hello! We use VMware Horizon 6.2.1, the client OS (Windows 10 1607 LTSB) is deployed using a template (it has the View Agent 7.0.2 installed). On these machines there is a problem with the indicators (Caps Lock, Num Lock) on the keyboard - they stop lighting when a person connects to their system through the VMware Horizon Client (PCoIP), in RDP, there is no problem.
At https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2149393 there is information that our Horizon Agent 7.0.2 supports Windows 10 LTSB 1607, but with an additional inscription - Fresh Install Only. If I create a new template with Windows 10 1607 and installed Horizon Agent 7.5 - everything works.
Is it possible to somehow fix the operation of the indicators on the keyboard (Caps Lock, Num Lock) on already deployed machines? (Updating the Horizon Agent from 7.0.2 to 7.5 does not solve the problem).
I don't pay to much to the keyboard indicators, but my Caps Lock indicator does work as intended on my 7.5 environment. As for the Num Lock, I just force it on through the BIOS on the base image.
Currently running on Horizon 7.5
I apologize, my problem was in the golden image.
Hello,
I am experiencing this same issue in our View 7.4.0 environment. We are using Win10 1607.
The keyboard lights work fine on a fresh deploy from image, but existing VMs (from the same original image) do not work.
If anyone has a fix for this, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Sean
Hello,
We had the dameware remote control agent installed on our desktops.
After removing this, the keyboard indicator lights worked.
Thanks
Sean
