Hi Venkatesh,

Yes you can monitor your VMware on-premises environment using Skyline. However, it will not provide you with real-time monitoring.

Based on your environment, it will notify you with the known issue and recommend you solutions.

Please check below link to more about Skyline.

Hello Venkatesh,

Using Skyline via Cloud service platform is not charged. However to create an Organization in Cloud Services platform you need to enter all the information required. It cannot be skipped.

Please refer to the below-mentioned link to know more about CSP. Do let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Venlatesh,

You can uninstall the collector and share the collector id with us.

Once we remove the collector from our end, it will remove details in next 48 hours from Advisor.

Please fill the below form once you uninstall the collector.

VMware Skyline Community - Smartsheet.com

Hi Venkatesh,

We respect your decision, that you would like to decommission the skyline appliance, but we are still not clear why you have made this decision?

We request you to share your feedback on Skyline or what's your expectation from this product?

please let me know if you would like to have a discussion on the call ?

Hi Ajay,

Yes we didn't find more useful in skyline as already we are using veeam one for the same to monitor and reports. All we are seeing here is patch notification which we can find in update manager as well.

Thanks,

Venkatesh
