Horizon 4.7 can't uninstall

Anyone come across this?  I had two versions installed on a windows 10.  4.2 and 4.7.  I was going to put 4.8 on so i thought i'd remove the others.  from add / remove programs 4.2 uninstalled fine and rebooted.  When i attempt to uninstall 4.7 i get and error msg  "product must be installed first before attempting to make changes with the installer".  No horizon exists in program files since 4.2 was removed.  I find just two vmware horizon 4.7 entries in the registry i am considering deleting.  anyone come across similar issues?

I have had this issue in the past. I use Revo Uninstaller when I need to upgrade the Horizon Client. Have it scan and remove left over registry entries and files. Reboot then install.

At this point you are likely going to have to manually delete the registry entries, as well as search for leftover files in %appdata% and %programdata%.
