Master Image and Snapshots

We have one master image and 5 snapshots are associated with it. We have single pool

Is there a way I can find out which VDI Desktop is associated with specific snapshots.

4th snapshot is corrupt, i have to go to each and every VM to recompose the VM with 5th snapshot.

Wondering if we have this information handy.

Can you expand a bit about how the pool is setup, manual, automated, linked clones, full clones, instant clones? If its just a single pool linked clone pool, you can go to inventory tab in the desktop pool and click on

pastedImage_0.png

and the image name is the snapshot name

Depending on how many pools you have you can also pull this info with View PowerCLI. I was only able to find a way to pull the pool configuration.

Get-Pool -PoolType SviNonPersistent,SviPersistent | select pool_id,parentVMPath,parentVMSnapshotPath | Sort-Object -Property parentVMPath | Format-Table -AutoSize
