[ Vra 7.5 ] Web UI issue ? Data collection / add Vsphere endpoint

Hello all,

I have some strange thing with our VRA Web ui , it's a fresh install in laboratory environnement and i begin to be crazy with this product 😞

If someone can help me to understand why i have this strang behavior i will be very thankfull.

First issue is inside Compute ressources , under a vsphere endpoint, i can see my Cluster, but inside " data collection tab" i got this :

As you can see, inventory and state are neither ( on or off), i can select on and set a frequency  and click on Request now then OK then refresh, but the interface still stay like that, no button selected .

Inside the log i can see that my datacollection is requested, that's all .

It's like Vra doing nothing even if i clicked on request and OK button .

I have the same issue for adding endpoint , i can't add another Vsphere endpoint, like the data collection, it's running "please wait" and that's all

I can click on OK or Test connection , i have "please wait" and get back to this page. And of course my endpoint is not added when i refresh the page.

My credentials are ok , as i am able to connect to this endpoint ith the same credential.

Does someone have any clue for me ?

Do you know if there is a special logs for data collection for example to check ?

Can we check if there is severals data collection process stuck in progress ?

Look at Infrastructure => Monitoring => Logs to see what it's saying. Common problems include agent name mismatch and MS DTC not set correctly.

Thanks for your answer, we have already check all of our agent, everything look fine , DTC are correct also.

Yesterday our endpoint issue was solved  after 4 days to troubleshoot, whitout doing nothing !!!

The endpoint is finally added , but data collection doesn't work, there is no VM found on our 2 vsphere endpoint ( of course there is VM inside each ) but Template are populate ..

Regarding our web interface of data collection, the issue is still here, no light off on or off , and no last execution 😞

I will try to unregister our endpoint and register it again, but if it's take 4 others days, i gonna to be crazy ^^

Hello All,

I have just unregister and register my endpoint again, it working directly ( mystery is still there, why during 4 days it's was not possible and today it working fine )

And now my data collection is better , 4 differents tab, instead 3 at the beginning and data collection seem to work and finish in sucessfull state.

I really don't understand what's going on with this product. So now data collection is working but there is no VM populate, and my template which are avaliable last time (with the bad UI ) are not avaliable anymore 😞

Do you know if network latence can cause this type of behavior ?
