UEM don't create archive zips during logoff time

Hi,

Im trying to migrate one user from w7 to w10 using UEM 9.5 and i have problems with that.

When i log in the view pool of w10 UEM apply user environment settings but no Personalization settings. In W7 the user is working fine but when i try to loggin in w10 and logoff the zips of the Personalization aren't created and the user cant import/export his changes.

Its extrange but when i logoff the sesion i can see on view console that the user still conected like 15-20 mins.

As i said they are working right now with w7 and its fine with no issues.

I have atached a log.

Something is preventing the logoff, I'm seeing the same issue, try logging on to the vm through the vmware console and logoff and see if any messages show up. If you enable the detailed startup messages that may help. The setting in group policy is

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System

It keeps in "Signing out" 15-20 min.

I don't know what to do.

If your using appvolumes I'd try testing removing them and see if you can logoff without those, and then try and narrow it down to a specific one if you have more than one. Your best best is to open a ticket with support and they can go through all the logs.

I can't see anything in the log going over it, you do have alot of disable configurations, are the ones you are looking for enabled? You only going to get exports if you have the specific configs enabled and they aren't restricted to a condition set.

Hi Zomig,

If you "manually" run FlexEngine.exe -s in the session, does the export complete normally, in a reasonable time?

Hi,

It doesn't work. If doesn't matter if i use FlexEngine.exe -s -F or not.

FlexEngine.exe -r Works fine.

Hi Zomig,

By "it doesn't work" you mean that that also hangs? (-F is not required, BTW, as this would be the first export.)

Can you check with ProcMon what's going on?

I mean that if i open a cmd prompt and writte C:\"route"\FlexEngine.exe -s nothing happens then if i check the share route of UEM profiles i cant se any update of the zips and the horizon sesion still in "connected" (In windows10 "signing out") like 15 mins.

Can't see anything on ProcMon

Hi Zomig,

Running FlexEngine -s in the session won't log you off by itself, so the Horizon session stays around of course. But the fact that you don't see any updates to the profile archive zips in the share indicates that it's behavior is similar to running FlexEngine at logoff.

If you start ProcMon, reset its filter, and add Process Name is FlexEngine.exe to the filter before you run FlexEngine -s, nothing shows up?

Hi Zomig,

Happy to hear that you managed to find the problem. Can you explain what exactly was the issue?

If you have one loggout script bad configured that is wating for a response horizon can't close the sesion until 15 min and flex engine coudn't export sesion changes because flex engine uses before the part of logout scripts that the part of creating the zips to customize applications.
