vCloud Extender

Hi All

I am trying to deploy Extender. I can deploy the appliance and power it on. But it does not customize the VM, so IP, hostname, password etc does not get set.

Any of you tried that?

vCenter 6.7u1

ESX 6.7u1

Did you deploy with the H5 vSphere client? If so, redeploy with the flash/legacy client - I've seen issues with H5 on setting OVF parameters.

I have tried

3 different browsers

both H5 and flex client

2 different PC's

I just tried it in our environment (vSphere 6.7 U1). I was able to successfully import vCloud Extender 1.1.0.2 OVA and my network settings were also applied.

How do you know that the network settings are not applied? Do you use DHCP or do you configure the network statically?

I am not able to contact the server, also i can see that the hostname is just "photon-machine".

I configure it with static IPs.

I will try to redownload it and try again.
