VMware player unrecoverable error (sgva)...NOT_REACHED bora\mks\hostops\DX11\DX11BlendState.c:90

Hi Forum,

I'm new to VM's and am just playing around with VM Workstation 15 Player and a VM with windows 7.

I tried to play a gaming in the VM and it periodically crashes Displaying the error:

VMware player unrecoverable error (sgva)

NOT_REACHED bora\mks\hostops\DX11\DX11BlendState.c:90

The game required "accelerate 3D graphics" otherwise i get nothing. Any suggestions on what may cause the error?

Thanks in advance Smiley Happy

What game is this?

What steps could we take to reproduce this issue?

What else can you tell us about your setup? (CPU, Video card, RAM?)

I've also encountered this issue.

Vmware Workstation Pro  15.0.2 build-10952284

Host:

Windows 10pro 1809 64bit

i7-3770k

Nvidia 1080ti

Guest:

Windows 10 Pro 1809 32bit

SVGA 3d acceleration enabled.

Software that causes this error:

Activision Anthology Remix

When loading the game, it gets past the video intro, and when it tries to fire up the main game UI is when it crashes with the exact same error: (pasted from log)
