Reinstall vmware fusion11 and vm cannot run

  • First I explain why I reinstall vmware fusion: ubuntu on vmware fusion cannot detect my external hard disk. This forum tells me to reinstall the vmware fusion while my security is unlocked(for more detail please see that link).
  • And then I manually uninstall vmware fusion according to the steps on the official website.
  • Then, I install vmware fusion again.
  • Then when I create a new ubuntu 18 vm and click the triangle play button, the vm is just stuck there. And if I want to close the vm window, there is going to be a prompt which tells that virtual machine is buy.

Could you please upload Fusion Support Bundle? It could be collected via Fusion Help -> Collect Support Information?Are you able to suspend or shutdown the VM after a while if you dismiss the 'virtual machine is buy' message?
