VMWARE horizon client error: a network error occurred new server

Hi All,

We keep getting the below error when adding a New Server to our VMWare view horizon client version 3.1.0.21879 :

Below is all the steps I have taken to resolve the issue:

- Added site to the proxy exception list GPO

- Added NO_PROXY environment variable

However I am still getting the issue the only way I can resolve is to open the proxy exception list remove all the site then re-add the sites.

Can you please advise how to resolve this issue I've attached the log file and also copied it below:

i might be wrong, but it seems a certificate issue - you did not give information on that.

Try to configure the client to ignore certificates error, and try again.

@@@Below issue has been resolved by adding an system variable NO_PROXY=Connection Server Name

I added in the Environment Variable to my Client Computer running the Horizon Client and i am still getting the error, do i need to reinstall the application on my client machine? Can you send a screenshot of the configuration that worked for you? There isn't one in the KB.

This is an old version of horizon and the horizon client, which may not apply if you have a newer version of horizon

Which version of Horizon Client? I am running 4.8, is this impacted by the Connections or Security server as well?

The version of the connection server and security server should mnatch, what version of the Horizon View are you using.
