Hello Seamus,

Please provide more details on the status.

Is the request initiated and stuck in 'In Progress' state?

Also, please confirm if the collector is using Proxy to connect to VMware.

Hello Seamusobr1,

You are facing the issue as the inventory refresh is not complete, Skyline compiles inventory every 48 hours, seems you tried to use LogAssist when the refresh was in progress.

Please try after a few hours.

It has been like this for the past five days and we have not been able to attach log files to problem tickets. We did move the collector to a new organization under the guidance of VMware support

I have raised an sr and have increased the permissions of the collector account to administrator but still will not upload logs. I have checked the log of the collector and it does not look like it is picking up requests from Skyline to start log collection is skyline able to send requests for this to the collector

We need to get this working as we have issues with our vsan cluster

Hello Seamus,

I checked LogAssist from the Skyline internal interface, I can see all the options available.

Please check if you are able to initiate a request, else we will need to schedule a meet to investigate further.
