Which network will be used when there is a storage vMotion between 2 hosts, will traffic goes over vMotion network or over Storage SAN network ?
Is the same for a storage vMotion between 2 datastore under the same ESXi Host ?

Storage vMotion uses a VMkernel componend called datamover (you can read more here VAAI hw offload and Storage vMotion between two Storage Arrays - frankdenneman.nl ) it doesn't use the vMotion network https://virtuallymikebrown.com/tag/storage-vmotion-requirements/
