vCenter 6.5 client (browser) login source address

Hello

Could you kindly please help me with this.

I am trying to receive an email notification when a vCenter 6.5 user logged in using administrator@vsphere.local.

I need to receive a source IP address used by a client to log in.

The notifications works. However, with a web-browser client, the source IP address is always revealed as 127.0.0.1.

If I logged in with administrator@vsphere.local using a VMWARE-client or POWERCLI, I receive an email with the correct IP address which is used by my PC.

Why the clients IP address is revealed as 127.0.0.1 for when a user logged on using a web-browser?

Hi,

I suggest to update vCenter to the latest patch available.

Hi,

I have another vCenter which is 6.7. I have checked it in vCenter 6.7. It gives me the same issue with 6.7
