Run VMWare workstation VM in background

Dear All,

We have installed vmware workstation on oracle linux 6.5.Two VM are running on the workstation. The problem is that when we logout of the oracle linux desktop/GUI session, the server close the vmware workstation and also close the VMs. Which we do want. Can you please help me so that our vms running in the background after we logout of the server.

You need to configure/set the VMs as Shared Virtual Machines.  See the user manual regarding shared VMs.
