Looks like there might be an issue with your PowerCLI installation.
Can you do a

Get-Module -Name VMware* -ListAvailable

I suspect the best option would be to completely delete all the PowerCLI modules, and then do a fresh install.

Which PowerShell version? 5.1, 6.*?
Which platform? Windows, Linux, Mac?

Which PowerCLI version?
