vCenter Server Alarm for a missed RTO of a VM

Hi Folks,

I have vDP 6.1 up and running without replication. It can backup and restore virtual machines successfully. Is it possible to create a vCenter Server Alarm if a RTO is missed for a VM under a backup a schedule. I tried to search it inside vCenter server , but could not locate it.

Cheers

Aleem

Hi,

An alarm for RTO missed? I never saw alarms like that in vDP.

Also, as you probably now, vDP is deprecated and for this version even more!

No, RTO missed alarm is for vSphere replication.

VDP will have reports sent out on a daily basis (if configured) that says what is successful and what is not.

But it is not equipped enough for SLA missed alerts.

You would need to possibly consider another solution for this + considering VDP is out of the window.
