"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem..."

Hi!

I am trying to create a new VMWARE computer. I do it as usual (I specify the .iso that is a Windows 10 x64 image) and I get that error. It also says:

File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD

Status: 0xc0000000d

Info: The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

I tried with another .iso (Win10 x86) and it's the same. I tried creating the PC without installing the OS and then installing the OS later but it's the same. Tried using another hard drive as the target installation folder but no way.

All other VMWARE workstations run OK.... it's when creating another one.

This was happening in VMWARE 14 and upgrading it to VMWARE 15 makes no difference.

I suspect it started happening after adding a new hardware to my PC (I added an SSD drive, but keeping other drives)... maybe it's this?

Thanks
