Failure to install Final Cut Studio on Lion VM

Because I miss Soundtrack Pro sometimes, or even DVD Studio Pro, when a client requests a DVD (which is admittedly rare, but does happen from time to time), I got it into my head to try to install a Lion VM on my new MacBook Pro 2018 (macOS 10.14.2, i9, 32GB, Vega 20) in order to be able to run FCP Studio 3 on it.

The Lion install went pretty much without a hitch, and it was nice to see the old Lion Desktop wallpaper again, after so many years.

But when I try to run the Final Cut Studio installer, I get this error message:

Why would that be, and how to fix it?

I assigned first 512MB to the virtual graphics card, then tried 256MB...turned off all the extra virtual GPU stuff (3D acceleration, virtualisation, etc.), but no flowers.

If anyone could help me get through this road-block, or around it, I'd greatly appreciate it!

thanks RickShu!

I was actually able to figure out a way to circumvent those error messages and get the apps I need to run, and shared that info with the thread you linked to.
