Hi,
I'm having trouble with host and storage vMotion of a very large VM (20 TB+) from one cluster to another under the same vCenter.
Migration fails in the final stage. It copies the entire VM across and when it tries to cutover the VM from source and destination it fails with the following error:
vMotion migration failed to read stream keepalive: Connection closed by remote host, possibly due to timeout.
Failed waiting for data. Error 195887167. Connection closed by remote host, possibly due to timeout.
The error I'm seeing in vmware.log is
2018-12-21T17:10:23.596Z| vcpu-0| W110: SVMotionDisconnectMirrorNode: Some guest IOs failed for device 189ba837d-ffffffffffffffff-svmmirror during disk copy: I/O error. Failing storage vMotion.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
