VMware Workstation with two monitors

Hello virtualization exerts,

I have converted physical machine to VM. This machine used AMD Fire Pro graphics card with two display ports for two monitors.

Now, I wonder if it is possible to install this graphics card inside vmware in order to enable two display ports and to have two monitors again?

Thank you.

The AMD FirePro graphics card on the host cannot be passed to a VM as a graphic card. Currently, VMware Workstation does not support passthrough of PCIe devices such as graphics cards, NICs from the host machine to a VM. For now, you need VMware ESXi to have GPU passthrough capability.

However, since you already have two monitors on the host, what you could do is use "Full Screen" for the VM and select the "Cycle through Monitors" from the menu. For a Windows 10 host/guest combination, the Windows 10 VM automatically identifies the extra monitor(s).
