VMWare ESXI Login Page not available > MergePoint Embedded Management Software opens instead

Hello,

when trying to access the VMWare ESXI 6.7 Login Page (https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/login.html) from my PC I am redirected to this Page (MergePoint Embedded Management Software):

If I open the connection on another pcs, it does work.

I tried, both IP and hostname, I tried FF, Chrome and IE but none of them work on my pc - any ideas?

Thanks,

Sascha

Hello Sascha,

welcome to the forums!

Is there a chance that the IP address that you assigned to the ESXi host is already in use by some other device?

Then you may randomly end up on the one or the other device.

Hi

Do you have sure that this IP is  ESXi Management?

You to get to the main screen on your ESXi server.

See this link: How to Configure VMware ESXi with a Static IP Address

Not sure about the URL you've posted, but the login URL to the Embedded Host Client on an ESXi host is https://esxi-ip-or-fqdn/ui/

Thank you all for your response.

I was being absolutly stupid and did forget that the DRAC of a system that has been configured at the same time unfortunatly was configured with the same IP as the ESXI - wondrously, after changing the DRAC IP, I was able to access the esxi...

Sorry for bothing you all Smiley Wink

Best,

Sascha
