android on vmware

i tried to install android on VMware but it don't boot but it didn't boot after installing

and i see message says to install FreeBSD tools but when i click it just has error and says

Perl script-based VMware Tools installation for FreeBSD has been discontinued. FreeBSD systems are supported only through the open-vm-tools packages directly available from FreeBSD package repositories.

It's not supported and I don't believe it's going to work.

Please provide some details, like your Host OS/version, the VMware Player version, the Android installation image/iso that you are using (if possible provide the download URL), and attach the VM's current vmware.log to a reply post.

Host OS:windows 10 enterpeise

VMware workstation 15 pro

android 6.0

i got it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/android-x86/

You say that the VM deosn't boot. Can you please explain this? Doesn't it come up at all, or is it stuck at some point in booting?

Maybe How to Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Android-x86 ) on PC using VMware Workstation Tutorial [HD] -... will help.

it boots up but after installing when i pres run android x86 it just type

ANDROID Root-@x86:/#

It works in VESA mode but I want to install to save changes.
