Kubuntu 64bit hangs with fusion

Hi,

While I did not have any problem installing the most recent 32 version of kubuntu in fusion, the 64 bit version just hangs. It takes a long time to initialize the virtual machine then I see a screen saying kubuntu and then fusion starts to eat all my memory.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

How about reduce the memory size of your kubuntu 64bit VM?

I tried this and reduced it even below 1024MB. I also enabled hypervisor and just used one processor. But nothing works.

Best wishes

Same problem here with 18.04 on a 2018 MacBook Pro 13". I can get to the desktop but there are no icons and CPU goes to 100%.
