New VMs (8.1 & 10) won't recognize mouse or keyboard

Macbook Pro, MacOS Mojave 10.14

Fusion Pro 8.5.10

I created new VMs after upgrading both MacOS and Fusion. It was doing it before, but my company mandated the new OS and I read a suggestion to upgrade Fusion. No old VMs to test, unfortunately.

On another thread, I read a suggestion to go to 'System Preferences', 'Security', 'Accessibility' and grant Fusion permissions - I never found that option, where did I go wrong? (no idea if it will fix anything, but I'll try most anything at this point. Hard to do real work without the Windows apps..  😉

Any other advice or suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes that setting is requried for your mouse and keyboard to work.

You can find it in the top menu, under the apple icon then follow the other steps.
