Unable to add vCenter Insrance in vRealize Operations Manager's vCenter Adapter

Hello Friends, Good Day!!

vRealize Operations Manager 7.0 is deployed in our VMware Infra, but getting below error while adding vCenter Instance in vCenter Adapter.

Based on the VMware KB article (2149144), we have added vCenter hostname and IP in local hosts file of vRealize Appliance but no luck

Please suggest any solution to resolve the issue.

Thank You.

There are all the ports that you need:

Port Requirements for vRealize Operations Manager

Be aware that you cannot use NAT between the RC to the vROps cluster.

Follow the steps on how to setup a vCenter instance:

Configure a vCenter Adapter Instance in vRealize Operations Manager

Verify that at a minimum, the user account must have Read privileges and the Read privileges must be assigned at the data center or vCenter Server level.

Ensure you have setup DNS and NTP properly.

Thank You RickVerstegen for the article.

Given article is working fine to add local vCenter Instance;

We're able to add local vCenter Server (on which the vRealize Operations Manager Appliance is running), but while adding remote vCenter Server or vCenter Server having difference IP range or subnet (of vRealize Operations Manager Appliance), getting this error.

Please suggest if any specific ports needs to open from vRealize Appliance or vCenter instance.

Thank You.
