when starting the VMWare it shows this?

when I try to open my VMWare it shows me the problem I showed below

Looks normal to me. You can wait for the timer to timeout, or hit [enter] and the VM will then boot.

It's the VM having a problem then. The first screen grab you showed us contained no errors. This is completely different.

Is this a VM that has worked before or one you have just created?

so the 2nd screen is the output when I select the 1st option(ubuntu) from 1st screen

Have you done any of:

  • "journalctl -xb" to examined the system logs
  • "systemctl reboot" to reboot
  • "systemctl default"
  • ^D to try again

?
