Also what could be the possible reasons for it ?

any syntax/particular parameter/keywords which we can check in VMkernel and hostd logs ?

The title of your thread is somewhat confusing. You say "showing offline and online". These are two competing states, so what exactly are we seeing here? Feel free to post screenshots demonstrating what you see in your own environment.
