Workstation - IP Address

I have a Physical PC running windows 10.

I want to create a 1 virtual PC work on that Physical PC.

The physical PC will have only 1 Physical NIC;

Is it possible for the Physical PC to be in Network A & the virtual PC in Network B ?

Both physical & virtual PC should be in different network.

Yes it is possible.

If you want the Physical PC to be connect to Network A and VM (Virtual PC) connected to Network B, with Network A and Network B residing outside VMware Workstation but only have one physical network adapter then you will need to have a physical switch which supports VLANs. You can then run the e1000 network adapter with the appropriate network drivers to support this.

The easiest way is to have a second network adapter in your computer and assign that to the guests. Within the computer using VMware Workstation it is easy to have multiple networks - outside a little harder.

Kind regards.
