Uplink or Link Aggregation group name Uplink 4 is in use by the teaming policy defined at DVPortgroup dvpg-94

hey guys

I have this vDS which has 4 uplinks but the server only have 2 physical NICS - vmnic0 and vmnic1

so I want to remove 2 uplink in the settings for the vDS but it won't let me

I get this error message and I am not using LACP or similar just simple vmnics and upllinks

Do you have a DVPortgroup dvpg-94? Can you check it's settings?

should I worry about that?

I mean I have 2 vmnics and 4 uplinks I don't it matters in won't be any traffic loss or something or yes?

Hi,

Did you check in the VDS portGroup Teaming & failover setting that uplink4 was in the "Unused" section in the failover order?

Vs Active or Standby.
