Set up server address as default via terminal (macOS) - Possible?

Hey all,

I'm looking for a solution to add automatically the server address in VMWare Horizon after installation.

I would like to create a new package, which is copying VMWare to the Applications folder and running a script, which already adds the server connection.

I already checked the plists in the preferences folders, but there are no changes in the application, not even if I delete them.

So, is that possible?

I'm running the latest macOS and latest VMWare version.

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

Seb

I couldn't find anything official but I suspect you could use a plist file to configure the Client.

Alternatively you can use URI.

Hey!

It's been quite a few years since this was last updated, is there still no solution for using terminal and adding the server address that way? I prefer not to use URI's in my environment and in all my log reading and file exploring, I've yet to find a file I can edit to add a default server for new device deployment.
