Have you tested the connection with other imap client different than vCO?
This way you will know the exact connection parameters and if it is vCO related or Microsoft related question?
Pay attention to : Find POP or IMAP server settings
If you’re using Microsoft Exchange-based email but are not using Office 365 for business, do the following to look up your settings.
- Sign in to your account using Outlook Web App. For help signing in, see Sign in to Outlook Web App.
- In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Options > Account > My account.
- On the My account page, click Settings for POP or IMAP access.
- The POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP server name and other settings you may need to enter are listed on the Settings for POP or IMAP Access page under POP setting or IMAP setting, and SMTP setting.
I have the connection working. It was a firewall issue blocking the port. That port is open and I am able to retrieve emails. What I am not able to retrieve is the mail content. the mail content is blank.
Why is the email content empty?
I was able to get pop3 in vro to work with O365 by first importing the O365 cert.
Go to Library>Configuration>SSL Trust Manager
Run Import a certificate from URL using the url: Outlook.office365.com
You need to import the cert from smtp.office365.com using the same “Import a certificate from URL” wf before you can use the smtp functionality as well.
Be sure that yes to SSL is selected when you run 'Retrieve messages (via MailClient). Port should be 995.
