Essential Plus and VM templates

we have Essential Plus 6.5. Can this edition allow me to create VM templates?

I don't have access to an Essentials Edition at the moment, but IIRC using templates is available with each vSphere edition.

You may simply try it, i.e. right click a powered off VM to see whether Convert/Clone to template is an available option.

Templates are a vCenter Features and are available in all 3 vCenter editions (essentials, foundation , standard).  With vCenter you can deploy VMs from a existing VM or VM Template. From the later one you can deploy multible VMs in the same time.

Hint: VM Templates are only "visible" in the VM & Template view and not under Host&Clusters.
