ssl

hi,

first i don't know about ssl vcenter also rely on the certificate to connect. How do I make a secure connection between esxi and server. I need to set up a server for the certificate. i don't know if i need something like that. why is ssl made

uses the ssl certificate cause in the vcenter environment. What are the setup steps. what is intended ? why should i need something ?

If you don't understand why SSL certificate are needed and how they work, you really really need to do some basic searches to understand this concept.

How do I make a secure connection between esxi and server.

Once an ESXi host is added to a vCenter Server environment, vCenter Server checks the host's certificate. If the host uses the default self signed certificate, you'll be prompted to accept the certificate. You may optional replace the self signed certificates by ones signed by a trusted authority if required.

i don't know if i need something like that. why is ssl made

In short, SSL is used to encrypt traffic between systems, i.e. to increase security.
