Hello,

Using the vSphere Client either directly connected to a host or Web Client you can create a Windows 2000 OS VM:

Creating a VM is a simple task in all versions, here are some links in case you have difficulty:

You can download from here:

https://my.vmware.com/en/web/vmware/evalcenter?p=converter

If you are using VMware Workstation Pro; if you choose the Virtualize a Physical Machine, it also gives you a link; similar as well for VMware Fusion on macOS.

Looks like what you need is VMware Converter 4.0.1 which is the last version that supported Windows 2000 SP4.

Search engine results will show some site(s) for download. I guess it is a matter of trust whether you want to download them.

Search engine results will also yield the supposed original SHA1 and MD5 checksums of the original downloads; again it would be a matter of trust.

EDIT: MD5 of the 4.0.1 download is found in an image in this communities link

vCenter Converter and v4.0.1 download?

With SP3 only I dont think you can use Converter at all.
If I remember right even version 3.0.3 already required SP6 to do the import.
So either you update the machine to SP6 first - or you have to do the import manually.
