Profile corrupt issue in VMware Horizon view 7.4

We are having Horizon view 7.4 environment and the issue is that some users are getting "User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded" error while logging to their VDI Desktops and they will redirecting to a temporary profile. To resolve this we have to login in console and remove the .bak extension in the profile list from registry and restart the machine. Then the user can able to login. This is a temporary solution.

VDI pools are configured as linked clone desktops with Dedicated persistent disks.

My question is

Does any one had this issue? Is there any permanent solution for this issue?

If we use any profile management solution like VMware Persona Management, profile Unity etc..will solve this issue?

Anyone please comment on this.

We are also on 7.4.0 (with a hotfix to address an issue with refresh/recomposes) and occasionally see the same issue with persistent disks. We are planning an upgrade to 7.6.0 as part of normal maintenance and will see if that addresses it. If not I'll open a SR but it's very difficult to reproduce. If you can reproduce this consistently I would advise opening an SR.
