Hi
I am trying to hide the prices from the end users uses the vRA, i tried to follow the post :
https://www.ituda.com/vmware-vrealize-business-for-cloud-hide-cost-values-in-vra-interface/
after performing the disable and restarting the vcac-server service, the pricing still apear.
can anyone help here ?
Why not just unregister vRBC entirely if you don't want that information?
Interesting question, as this has come up on our end as well.
It would be nice to have roles assigned to who gets to see this information, business manager vs. users etc, along with applying costs to specific business units vs. all of them.
In our case not all business units are a charge back model.
According to the documentation in vRA 7.2 (it doesn't appear to be found in later versions), editing the file /etc/vcac/enabled-features.properties and setting CostingUI=false will prevent these costs from showing during request. This is outlined in the Management document. Don't know if this still works on later versions.
