Is vmci0.present = "TRUE" needed on a VM that has no vmware tools installed?

If a VM has no vmware tools installed and there is no intention to install them (for security reasons), is there any use in the following feature?

vmci0.present = "TRUE"

Hello
Even a VM with vmware-tools installed will work fine with
vmci0.present = "false"
Most users will probably not notice it at all - so dont worry about vmci.
