Office 365 activation

Hi,

Can UEM capture O365 activation settings ? or do I have enable “shared computer activation”. Basically, I want to avoid having the user's activation count increase each time their desktop is recomposed.

Thanks,

P

You are correct that you will need to use the shared computer activation. Its been seamless for the large environment we have. It renews the token in the background with no issues.

More Info on it:

If you don't use SSO, you will need to capture:

  • %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Licensing
  • %localappdata%\Microsoft\Credentials

Thanks. I'll check out the SSO setting as well.

Sorry to re-open an old thread, but I seem to still have issue with this after following along. As you can see I added the %localappdata% folders and also removed the condition, but I am still not capturing these settings. Am I missing something?

thanks.
