vro transfer file to cloned VM

Hello,

I wanted to know the best way to transfer a files to a VM during the clone

this files is not in the source vm and according to the flow must be on the destination vm

preferable VM stoped but if not possible we can start the destination vm to apply the copy

If the VM is powered off or suspended you can't transfer a file to it, even using the VMware Tools channel. So your only option is to have it powered on.

and without network the solution is to use vmtools?

is it on the vm méthodes of the API ?
