NSX License keys are invalid??

Hi,

I am unable to add NSX license keys to the vcenter server license inventory.

I haven't installed and configured NSX yet but just wanted to import licenses from my.vmware.com, all other products licenses have been successfully added. What can be the issue?

Hi,

If you haven't installed NSX yet and linked it to vCenter, vCenter won't recognize the keys. Link NSX first, then add the license.

Thank you for your response. I have also contacted VMware support, they have also suggested me to install NSX Manager first then add license keys. Will post the update if that's the actual reason behind it.
