Help troubleshoot unresponsive ESXi server

I have a Dell PE R420 with ESX 6.5 U1 that randomly becomes unresponsive on nearly a daily basis. The firmware is all updated.  There is only 1 vm on this esx server.  16gb ram, and 6 CPUs x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2430 0 @ 2.20GHz.   Can someone point me in the right direction to troubleshoot why this is happening?  Is there a tool to help read the logs?

Did you check the article VMware Knowledge Base? Alternatively, share the time stamp of the most recent occurrence of the issue and the vmkernel.log and hostd.log for that time stamp.
