Unable to delete Horizon View Pool

I recently built a new Horizon View 7 server. I setup a test pool that I ended up having issues with and it would not provision desktops. I tried to delete the pool but it has been listed in View now for over a day grayed out saying (deleting) but it is still there. I even uninstalled and reinstalled View and it is still there. Most of what I've found says to delete the VM's but the pool never created any so I have nothing to remove. I am running Horizon 7, version 7.6.0 build-9823717. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction so I can remove this pool and proceed with my testing.

Please also look at OU=Applications. See if it is listed there.

Also, you wont need to restart the connection server. Just refresh your admin page and it should be gone.

You will need to clear it from the DB. Use ADSI edit to find the pool AND the machines and you can delete them from there.

I tried running the query but it does not return anything. And when I run viewdbchk.cmd --scanMachines it finds 0 machines in 0 pools.

Open ADSI on a connection server and look in OU-Server Groups for your Deleting pool ID. Locate it in the right and delete.

I removed the Server Group from ADSI Edit and even after restarting the View connection server it is still listed as "Deleting".

That was it, thank you.

I removed the entry from the OU=Applications section and after refreshing the page it was gone.

Hi boss,

I have one question, in my productive environment my recompose task got stuck and unable to cancelled. Status shows its cancelled but still task is present in the list of events of desktop pool.

If we try to refresh the desktop pool following message appears:

It means existing task is pending.

How we can solve this problem without deleting the desktop pool, i also check ADSI edit but found nothing related to task.

Could you please guide me how to solve this issue.
