Any news on the release Date for UEM 9.5 for Win1809 SAC and LTSC ?

Hi Dominik,

I can't officially say anything about UEM 9.5, other than that it will be released very soon. As it will be released before the RTM of Windows 10, Version 1809, we will not officially support that. We're of course keeping an eye on the Insider builds and haven't found any issues in our most "scary/intrusive" features (DirectFlex, application blocking, and privilege elevation).

Just to make sure: what exactly do you mean by LTSC in this context? Windows 10 LTSB (i.e. Version 1607), Windows Server 2016 LTSC, Windows Server 2019, or maybe something else altogether 🙂 ? I'm a bit confused by the different branches and channels, so I'd rather make sure I understand your question correctly.

Win1809 will be released for the SAC and for the LTSC like LTSB 1607 was exactly the same as CBB 1607 the new 1809 LTSC (LTSB) is exactly the same core als SAC (CBB) 1809.

Aha, thank you for clarifying that for me! Good to know.

So my statement w.r.t. support for Version 1809 applies to both SAC and LTSC. Due to our release timing we won't officially support them with UEM 9.5, but we will do so in 9.6.
