Creating a Datastore view - vCenter/Cluster Related metrics

Hello,

I am trying to create a new view for a list of datastore usage capacity. We have so many vCenters; so while the view has been created, I couldn't find a metric for adding the respective vCenter for the datastore to the view.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Are you able to share an export of the view here and I will take a look for you at the options you have

Thanks for your response. So in the screenshot above, I am looking for two related metrics to the datastore object (cluster/vcenter)

You want the name of the corresponding vCenter right? Is it not a property instead of a metric? Have a look under the properties.

There is no way that i know of to do this as there is no property with the related parent vcenter at the datastore level

Yes, I wonder why VMware doesn't add this as part of a related Property to the datastore object. Like I mentioned we have many vCenters and it would be nice to know which vCenter every datastore comes from just by looking at the report.
