horizon agent 7.5 msi

I am looking for an msi for the horizon agent version 7.5.  I don't see one on the downloads page.  Is an msi even created or available?

You need to extract it out of the .exe that you download. You can use the /x switch

Please give just a little more detail?  I ran the exe from the cmd prompt with the /x and it didn't unpack it.  Do I need to use another utility?

It will extract it to your %temp% folder. You will see a UUID and inside will be your files

The files will be extracted to c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\<UID ie {XXXXXX-XXX-XXXX}~setup

Locate the VMWare Horizon Agent64.msi or search for this file using Windows Explorer

I realize this is a really old post and is probably no longer being monitored.....

I am attempting to extract my .exe file to acquire a .msi for the Horizon Client but am not having any luck.  The only thing that is being created is the log file which I have attached.

Any help is appreciated!
