Autostart of VMs on ESXi 6.5U1 not working.

Hello,

I'm working on a Microserver Gen8 with vSphere ESXi 6.5.0 U1 Build 7388607.

I want to access to the adminitration website from outside so i've configured port forwarding on my router (with exotics ports).

To make this work i've changed the rhttpproxy port configuration (etc/vmware/rhttpproxy/config.xml).

Ports was closed by firewall so i've made a custom VIB to open the good ports.

And to stop having a certificat error i've generate / install a certificate with Let's Encrypt.

My remote access is working perfectly but now i've got 2 problems:

- esxcli commands are not working (IO error connection refused), localcli is working

- Autostart is not working but i can start my virtuals machine manually.

If someone can help me to resolve this points (Autostart in priority) i'll be very grateful.

Thanks

If esxcli commands does not work it means hostd service is either hung or crashed.

Also verify vmkernel and hostd log to understand why hostd was un-responsive.
