Change content of mail alerts

Hi All

Since this week i'm using Logsinsight for my VMWare environment, but when I receive alerts, I see that those links are pointing to the IP of the loginsight-server, instead of the domain-name.

Can I change that somewhere ?

I've looked on filesystem but could not find anything that sounds the right file.

Hope I can change it with a running system

best regards

Davelogis

Can you show an example of what you mean?

You must have deployed vRLI without a FQDN as this is how it's adopting that. When you run hostname from a terminal session, what does it report?

My output;

This is the name of the VM itself in vCenter, but not the name that I use to browse with my browser.

Do a cat /etc/hosts and show output.

What I notice here is that you don't have a FQDN specified for any of those loopback addresses, only the short name. You might want to open an SR.
