Possible to enter the console of virtual machine from ESXi Shell?

Hello vmware Community,

Currently I use the "VMware ESXi 5.1.0" Server in a external testlab. It's possible to enter the console from the virtual machine "machine01" out of the ESXi-CLI?

Thanks in advanced for your help.

I mean rather like this one:

This (the picture) is the esxi-console. I will start the console from the virtual machine out of this (above) console.

Hello Toorms,

The Console functionality to view and administer a Guest OS of a VM comes only with the vSphere Client (aka Thick Client) or the Web Client including the HTML5 version.

Unfortunately, from the ESXi Shell this function is not available.

Kind regards,

Pablo
